School Choir

The choir began several years ago and uncovered the talent and spirit of  more than 20 of the school's students.

In October 2012, students recorded a CD, entitled Empowerment of their favorite songs to help the school raise needed funds.  If you would like to purchase a CD, please check out our How You Can Help page.  100% of the profits from CD sales will go towards feeding the children.

It was exciting to receive the professionally produced CD.  The students debuted it at Ndola's Jacaranda Mall despite a torrential rainstorm and the inability to use their electronic keyboard.  The shoppers were moved by the students singing a cappella and sales went well.

You can hear the students sing one of the songs on YouTube.

Here are two short clips of the choir singing at the mall.  The background noise is the pouring rain!

The students worked hard to make the CD and practiced for hours.  Here are some of the photos taken along the way.
